Steven Rotman was Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Vystar Corporation. Mr. Rotman has been President and CEO of Rotmans, one of the oldest and largest, furniture and carpet retailers in New England, for more than 40 years. In addition, he is the founder and managing partner of NHS Holdings, a company that in 2015 became the exclusive distributor of Vytex™ natural rubber latex foam in the U.S. and laid the groundwork for Vytex’s entrance to the home furnishings industry. Mr. Rotman received a BBA degree from Clark University and an MS from New York University. He has been an avid collector of sports and non-sports memorabilia for decades. He ran a large-scale auction and distribution trade card business, even designing his own trade card sets. He has been a member of the ephemera Society as well as the American Antiquarian Society.

Jamie Rotman, Ms. Jamie Rotman, CEO, has recently worked at M. Pope & Co as a Sales Associate and Ecom Manager, while semi-retired. She received her MBA from Clark University with a concentration in Marketing and Management in 2005. Ms. Rotman’s career began in the Film Industry where she worked for ten years on multi-million-dollar projects, as the Director of Development. After moving back to Worcester, she worked for fourteen years at Rotmans Furniture as their Efficiency Expert and Returns Manager. She then worked for the non-profit International Center of Worcester bringing international groups to Worcester, MA through the State Department in D.C., focusing on education. Ms. Rotman is uniquely qualified to serve Vystar, having served in the past as its Consulting Controller from 2018-2019. Ms. Rotman was involved in creating and implementing its online sales with RXAIR and VYTEX to Amazon, Wayfair, along with bringing in Distributors for RXAIR. She closely reviews and monitors all aspects of the operating and financial activities of the company. The company’s office is located at 365 Shrewsbury St, Worcester, MA. She informs and collaborates with the board during scheduled or unscheduled meetings on these matters, amongst others.

Byron Novosad, Byron L. Novosad, DDS was appointed to the Board on January 25, 2021. Dr Novosad received a BA in Chemistry from Baylor University and graduated from the University of Texas Dental School in Houston and later received his Certificate in Periodontics in 1982. Dr. Novosad brings experience to the Board in the medical and health care field, and served previously as a consultant to UV Flu Technologies from 2011 to 2015 and a consultant to Vystar Corporation from 2013 to 2015. He has operated a private periodontal practice in the Houston, Texas area for 30 years and has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the Periodontic Graduate Clinic for the University of Texas Dental branch in Houston since 2007. He was on the Advisory Board of Wharton County Jr. College School of Dental Hygiene for 37 years.
